National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week! April 10-16, 2022, is a time dedicated to celebrating and honoring the people helping others during some of the worst moments of their lives. Emergency Telecommunicator/Training Officer McKenzie Maples was recognized as the Telecommunicator of the year. She was nominated by her peers for her hard work and enthusiasm. Activities were held throughout the week and even various days included dressing up to represent several of the decades.
Many of our partner Agencies and Organizations brought cards and snacks to show their appreciation for the hard work and commitment that we do. We also delivered treat baskets to some of our neighboring agencies that we work with, to show our appreciation for them.
The International Academy of Emergency Dispatch has provided an avenue for Emergency Service Agencies to provide feedback relating to Medical and Law Enforcement Incidents.
